You do know that that xr700 is better then the r2 it can handle more then the r2 just saying not going to lie man. I understand your situation. I understand where you are right now. Just like you, I have all the badges on the left side of my name of how many routers we've bought. How many routers that we have relied on and yeah there is a difference in The Customer Service that they have shown us throughout the years, just give them time. Have patience man like Frasier said I mean they have no control over the Netgear nighthawk side of things. But just trust like you trusted from the beginning (the r1). All you can do right now is set your settings and pray to God the next update is better. In time it will happen and I know we (the duma army) are relying on the product and the firmware that they provide. If it wasn't reliable then we would have moved on a long time ago.
