So my XR500 finally went out on my after 5 good years and since I have fiber I upgraded to the Xr1000 about 4 days ago and now I'm getting the "missing JSON response"...I have tried everything I have found under all the suggestions you guys have given as I searched for answers. I have rebooted the router (unplugged the power for 1 min) ....I've cleared out my cache on my web browseronly thing I haven't done is factory rebooted it....any more suggestions?

Yeah I’m sure I could figure something out to raise but my point is that it’s never been THAT hot for 2 years…why now? As hot as it got there’s no way something isn’t or didn’t start to malfunction…which is why I was wonder is that a form of it dying on me?

I’ve had my aR2 since around the time it was released to us…so what? 2020? The other night I was noticing My game was feeling right …like I was behind and the game wasn’t feeling smooth…so I was checking my connections and ended up picking up my R2 to look at my cables on the back and noticed underneath was extremely hot…I’ve moved my routers before in the past messing with them and moving them and I’ve never felt them close to this being as hot. It was to the point my desk was very hot to the touch…I always air can the dust around all my device on my desk and it’s on my desk well ventilated so I don’t know what’s up with it being so hot! Any ideas? Is that the life of my R2? She’s the aR2 brick? Have you guys heard of them running that hot?

I have fiber....so I have the modem/router from my ISP...but I ip passthrough their router (pretty much take it out of the system) so it's their modem to my router (R2) to my ps5 ....so I really only have one router in the system

You ip reserve duma to your ISP router?...you're running 2 routers?

for you guys running DMZ....have anyone checked to see if turning off UPNP helps or no difference?...Also, do you guys use DHCP and IP reserve you device addy? or not use it?

I have ATT with 1gig...and doing speed test I always get some drops also....and between 700-900 is normal readings....the closest Ive ever got to 1000 reading was like 995...thats rare but I do and have had drops down in the low 200s before. Also, did you disable the firewall in the BGW210? and Not sure if you play any COD (this wont have anything to do with your speed testing) but did you go under NAT/Gaming and assign Call of duty to your R2? that will help in FPS games.
