Its not all the time. Its only when I'm on a streak... think I might try a third account, reverse boost it and see if I'm still having issues. That'll prove it once and for all.

I have 2 different Activision accounts on two different consoles. I have tried my Astro A40's, my SteelSeries Arctis Pros, I've tried iphone ear buds. I've also tried my 130w soundbar so loud that the floor beneath my feet vibrates from the sound of footsteps and explosions... Yet there are still sounds I should be hearing that I am not. I'm putting it down to SBMM screwing me off my streaks coz this crap is only happening when I am on one. Coincidence? Very doubtful.

SBMM is making my shots not reg, peoples are sponging and I'm not hearing peoples running up behind me thru me £250 headset nor am I hearing peoples shooting my claymores that are right beside me. Its also making spawning me in front of enemies several times in a row... ONLY when I'm on a streak. I've resorted to camping now and I can't even do that coz like I said, peoples running into the building and coming up behind me... I hear no footsteps, I don't hear the door open, I hear NOTHING!

Nice one man but I've given up on this game. Its SBMM screwing up my connection so nothing I do will make any difference.

I'm with BT too. IW was fantastic... WW2 was kinda inconsistent but I was using XR500, changed back to R1 and it was pretty good... BOps4 pre update was fantastic. MW, nothing but BS so far, no matter what I do. Traffic prio on or off, makes 0 difference... Anti BB (everyones saying game runs better with it off) but for me it runs 10x more trash than with it off so I have to have it on. I can get A+ on DSLReports, PingPlotter shows 0 spikes and only around 2-3ms of jitter which is nothing... yet nothing I try makes this game run right.

I get ya man. I suck at this game too. Just don't have the reflexes or reactions for a game with such fast TTK. Even more annoying for me is I turn a corner, someones right in front of me and from my hipfire (which couldn't possibly miss, the barrel of my gun is literally in their chest) only produces hitmarkers then I die. Its like I said yesturday, I feel like in alot of my matches, I'm behind.

OpenWRT is what I'll be turning to next as I'm having 0 luck with DumaOS. Someone can be in my face and I hipfire with a laser... hitmarker after hitmarker and they melt me like I'm not even firing. Yet when someone hipfires me... I drop faster than I can blink. I did have a brief play with OpenWRT (plugging my console into OpenWRT router) and noticed people drop alot quicker than with DumaOS... but if I plug console into Duma, disable BB and just use OpenWRT SQM... peoples take forever to drop. I always found OpenWRT was much better with Black Ops 4 also.

Regardless as to whether I'm right or not, I still shot first... yet died. Its like everyone says about the M4 being OP. Mine isn't. I get outgunned by every other gun in the game! I've put in about 3 days of play and I don't think I've had a single match whether I've not BS died.

I'm convinced that 95% of games I'm behind everyone coz so many times I shoot first but the killcam shows they shot first, usually with the same weapon too.

On old R1 firmware, its just called Hyperlane.

Its never good for me to choose Never. Game plays awful without QoS.

Where you the a**hole on the other team who kept sponging? Someone with a white gun, I shot first everytime but always died. Thats why I left.

Why do I never get enemies this dumb? That guy @ 6.40... did he not wanna shoot you!? Was he reloading? Why didn't he pull out a pistol? He had 3000ms to shoot at you man! Lol.

Decided to try playing without any traffic prio. and Duma Classified unticked and I'm dropping peoples so much faster now!

I get killed by streaks while in the middle of a building all the time, I'm like wtf!? Also, sometimes I'll be capping a flag in Dom with another player, along comes a grenade that kills me (even though I use EOD) but doesn't kill the other player who isn't using EOD. I've seen some players run through claymores without setting them off at all, even pretty much standing on top of them. Encountered a few players I can't reg hits on as well even though they don't seem to be stuttering about (which would make sense why I can't seem to hit them) And the camping. Seen players in buildings just sitting there ADS'ing at the door waiting for someone to come along. Its pathetic how some people play this game.

Tried out packet duplication on PS4... as with Xbox, made 0 difference to my gameplay.

Find out which servers give you these pings and set your geo filter to only connect to them.

Got the game on PS4 now, gonna try all this while playing on there, see if it makes any difference.

Do you feel that now enemies are slow to react to you like you're ahead of them? When I tried that software, enemies reacted to me instantly, even quicker than I could react to them most of the time. It was like I was against veteran bots... the split second they saw me, I'm dead.

All I can say is everyones connection is different. Might work for some but not for others. Shame it didn't work for me.
