Well, I'm using this software and got everything setup right I think... not working for me (not saying it doesn't work, saying it doesn't work for me) Defo not ahead of anyone, I'm coming round the corner and getting shot instantly, they see me straight away. Hit detection isn't any different I don't think neither. Still advising to give it a try though EDIT : @blackfirehawk maybe you could post a screen of your settings as I could have it wrong?

Apparently the servers are down right now for maint. WTF!? Its double xp weekend!

Surely it would affect your entire network thus should affect your console without bridging to your PC... right? (Could be wrong, a little over my head probably lol) Prehaps you could do the same thing with Putty? It can increase latency, duno what else exactly it can do.

It seems to not be working for me now anyways. Tried it tonight, everyone was sponging.

Forgot to mention, turn off Share Excess for both down and up.

Doesn't lag at all for me but then again, I have slow ass internet anyways.

0.12 down and up. Basically 120kbps.

One thing I've been messing with the last couple of sessions that has made things a little better for me at least is lowering the speed on your device (for me, my Xbox) in Bandwidth Allocation on DumaOS to 0.12 and leaving Anti BB on but with silders @ 100/100. I'm finding peoples seem to drop quicker when I try this BUT... it also kinda seems that I also drop quicker lol. Try see... see how it goes for you. I'm finding that 'shoot first die first' is happening a hell of alot less.

Something very weird about this game. Was playing with some US friends earlier today with my sliders on 100/100 and my geo filter was off, was playing on up to 160ms servers and still I was getting far less BS deaths than I do on the UK server @ 20ms. This game is jokes. Sliders seemed to be better off while on US servers yet on the Spanish servers I need them on. Ping doesn't seem to be king anymore, don't care what the devs say.

@kinel You were asking about YT'bers ping... I notice Scump playing on Twitch with a moderate NAT and getting in <15 ping matches.

I have 3 orange squares pop up occasionally but they don't seem to cause any problems for me.

Some real tin foil hat crap going on in here LOL. I haven't experienced any of this thus far. Some players are just utter sh*t... they *play* like bots, seen streamers play like bots, doesn't mean they are actual bots.

I had a 2.3 k/d on PS4 and Xbox on Black Ops 4... only a 1.4 k/d on MW but its rising, was 1.1 last week. Thats not down to connection though, have to play a little more cautiously on this game due to the footsteps making you sound like an elephant.

Its not often I have a bad connection lobby. If I do, I just back out. For me at least, it plays a hell of alot better than Black Ops 4 did.

I had it running perfectly for months. Then an update came out and I never found settings that worked ever again.

I found it better than the one I was using before that. Omnivox is the only one I've tried so far though.

I had the same feeling when I tried share excess disabled. Felt like I was behind everyone. That changed when I turned it back on. Could be coincidence but who knows.

Just because its a patent, doesn't mean its actually in the game. Its no different from that other one they have which matches you up with players with OP DLC weapons to make you want them more so you buy more CoD points. Having said that, Activision are shady as hell with some of the crap they've pulled in recent years.

I know this. I've been playing CoD with my R1 for 4 years now. There is no 'sweet spot' for me. Doesn't matter where I put my sliders, what ports I prioritise, what ports I forward. Nothing makes any difference. Everything was working fine, as I've said many times until they updated the game. Ever since that update, nothing makes any difference. Again, as I've said many times now, I've been speaking to many many YT'bers and Twitch folk who are having the same problem and only since that update. Hence... its the game and nothing I do will change that. I had my 'sweet spot' before that bloody update. Was working for months. Now nothing works. Frankly the game plays better on ISP wifi for some reason.

Even if I tried those last two things... would never be able to stream again.
