procreate Posted December 30, 2015 Share Posted December 30, 2015 i liked it... the theater replaced LEDs into their ambient lighting and i got stuck under a can which annoyed the shit out of me the whole movie but really looking forward to watching it at home where i enjoy movies more anyway. my kids loved it! You could see, scene for scene, the same scenes as a new hope, + a bit of empire and Jedi thrown in, with the same setup but with different characters. Nothing fresh or original whatsoever. For this reason i was very dissapointed. Yes i got a huge pang of nostalga seeing Solo and Leia and the falcon and there were some nice cgi shots but everything else was super meh. In fact this makes the prequel films look much better in hindsight. The only hope is the new kick ass jedi girl was an interesting proposition and has some potential but needs to be taken somewhere we havnt seen yet. disney will surely screw it all up into a big commercial dummed down pos that will be flogged to death like the avengers. Imo starwars is dead and someone desperately needs to come up with a fresh scifi saga. Very happy to be proved wrong though Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
