How do you delete devices in Device Manager?

Recommended Posts

So I have devices in manager that were from guests (Friends,Relatives,Etc.) in my network. There is so much on the list that I wanna remove them as it cluters the Device Prioritisation page. When I try to delete them on manager it tells me I cannot delete an active device. I know these devices aren't active in my network as they are no longer in my network physically. So I ask. How?

All you have to do is go into misc settings do a quick reboot of the router and then go back into device management and click delete on the device you would like deleted. it's as easy as that :).

As Pro said or you can change the WIFI password then reconnect the devices you want and delete the others  :)

As Pro said you need to reboot the router and then you will be able to delete the service you want to.

And this shit happens around the holidays more than ever with phones, tablets, laptops all from, like you said family, friends all wanting your WIFI when they come over for the holidays.I guess I'm a dick I just don't give them the WIFI,their phone will still ring without internet connected to it... ;)

Oh I'm a dick lol And it kinda scary how people are so dependent on having their phone on WIFI when there there to visit,at least that's my thought on the matter. If your there to hang with family what the fuck does your phone need internet for anyway, you can surf the web at home.As long as your phone works that's good enough for me.
