orf
I just got this app called PeakHour (http://peakhourapp.com/) to monitor my network activity, and it picks up that the router can be accessed via UPnP but it displays completely wrong download statistics (compared to the graph on the router itself). Is the router able to work with PeakHour, and if so what's up with the totals?
Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted November 28, 2015 Netduma Staff Share Posted November 28, 2015 Are you using the same unit of measurement on both of them?
orf
Yes, the difference is extreme as well. The UPnP totals report ~30KB/s while I am torrenting a huge file (using several mb a second). It seems like perhaps it's not returning the total for all clients? I'm not sure. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 29, 2015 Administrators Share Posted November 29, 2015 If you look on your torrent client at the port it is using has UPnP opened that specific one?
orf
Yep, the port is open through upnp when using Transmission. Does the router support SNMP? That's another way PeakHour can grab statistics, but it can't auto-detect the routers settings. It's no biggie if this isn't supported, it's just a bit odd that it gets strange data back. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 5, 2015 Administrators Share Posted December 5, 2015 I'm not sure I would have to ask Iain about that. Disable UTP on transmission as well
