procreate
So my PC has a host service on the R1 and originally I noticed a "host" in San Francisco showing up. Now another one shows up in Seattle as well. They are always both showing up, even when the computer is idling with nothing open. Is there an app to monitor network traffic going out on your machine and allows me to pinpoint the service using it on the machine? I know apps that will give me the IP of the traffic potentially... But I really want to find out who my machine is connecting to and for what reason.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 11, 2015 Administrators Share Posted October 11, 2015 There are almost always some idle connections going on, I shouldn't think its anything to worry about but like Crossy said wireshark can help here
