BigBen
All, I ordered a seperate line for gaming (and stuff I want ) . It's a ADSL connection (no other choice) and I use a Draytek 130 in Bridge mode. The problem is that my netduma does not get an IP address. If I change anything on the WAN interface page it says interface wan not found. As soon as I connect my laptop I get a public IP (so bridging is working) and can surf the net. I also tried to set a fixed IP address but that does not work either. Any ideas ? Thanks in advance

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 7, 2015 Administrators Share Posted October 7, 2015 Hey Ben, I wouldn't worry about "interface wan not found" it comes up whenever you apply settings on that page but the settings you change do work. If you set the IP address and then reboot from settings > misc as advised above it should work
BigBen
Sorry guys, it just does not work. If I set the Ip address fixed I can ping my WAN side (pretty obvious) but I cannot ping my gateway. If I want to enable ppoe I cannot use a fixed (static) IP. Like I said my win10 laptop gets a IP through DHCP fine and has full internet access

Like I said my win10 laptop gets a IP through DHCP fine and has full internet access What happens if you just set everything to automatic on the Netduma WAN side? You could also try taking the other router out of bridge mode and using DMZ instead if it has DMZ
BigBen
nothing happens when I do that. I don't want to put the other router in DMZ mode, thats another hop I don't want or need. (That was the setup I was running it before, on another internet line). My win10 laptop works fine so it should work on the duma too
BigBen
Just to be clear; I use MPoA (RFC 1483 protocol) so that means that the Duma should get an IP through DHCP just as my laptop does.
