Hi Imfreetoproclaim, welcome to the forum :)

Can you go to Settings >> Miscellaneous and make sure 'Enable Cookies' is unticked.

Also can you explain why you think it is factory reseting? :)

It' was untick! It's factory resetting because im getting the "welcome to netduma"

Ok. Can you try just rebooting the Netduma. Also, have you completed the tour because I think that appears if you don't complete it although I'm not entirely sure :)

Did you go over all the steps? If you didn't then it's going to troll you worse than Trolling Farm, Lol...In other words, make sure you go through the whole shebang...

I rebooted probably 10Xs, I did the factory restart (on purpurse). What is the Tour?

The tour is the welcome to the Netduma thing. Just keep pressing next and doing what it says until it has finished :) Then you won't get it anymore.

I wasted 10 hours of my time at Man!! I'm done, unless I can get a person on the phone. If not, how do you return this?

You can ring them (look on website for a number) but they'll probably tell you to make a post. All you have to do is go through the tour. It is part of setting up the router, so if you didn't complete it it will keep coming back.

I didn't pay 250usd to have this problem over and over and over again

It isn't a problem, it is part of the actual router :) You need to complete the tour for it to go away.

the tour is what you get at the beginning, when you first bought the router?

Yeah, but you have to do the whole thing to make it go away or it comes back (or at least thats what I think). Can't you just go through it and complete it and see if it fixes the issue?

If that's a "yes", I did that probable 30Xs because my router keeps on defaulting to it

Ok. Thanks for answering that. Can you go to Settings >> Miscellaneous and do an actual factory reset of the router.

What I can suggest is after you input in your settings, press Reboot Router. It will help save your settings in the router itself permanently.

Done! I will do it again (completely), but if it does it again it your router and I would like to return it. I will go through tour later when I'm not so pissed, so my likelihood for mistakes is less likely. I hit you back tomorrow with the outcome.

Sorry satan.....this shit is extremely frustrating, I wanted to talk to the tech specialist without a dude chiming in.

Ok, hopefully that sorts it. Can you also check that the router can't be overheating at all (so it is in a well ventilated area). I would also try the suggestion that AsNCo made with using the reboot button in 'Settings >> Miscellaneous' after doing the tour as that will hard save your settings.

Anyway, official Netduma tech support should be on later and they will be able to give some suggestions also :)

Your preaching of the "tour" was absolutely worthless, more of my time was just wasted because it again magically deleted everything and sent me back to your favorite subject "the tour"!!

For at least the 20th time, I will input my Xboxone/bandwidth/location(because the router always puts me in Kansas) and the other part of the infamous "tour"! This time, I will take the advice of AsNCo and reboot the router after I put in the settings! FYI-the router is sitting on a desk with a FT radius of any other electronical device. I know this is hard to believe, but it might be the router and you are just not willing to accept it.

In the mean time, please give me the information on how to return this Router.

Dude they are just trying to help you out. 99% of the problems on this forum are user error and can be fixed with a simple conversation. There's no need to be rude or curse at people trying to help you. If it comes down to it the damn CEO of the company will do a 1 on 1 with you to fix the problem. Try getting that support with any other company after you curse at them for trying to help you.

Now, have you made sure the router is updated to the latest firmware? That would be step 1.

It's been 10 days since I first tried to get help on Facebook, only to be forced to this forum!! I didn't pay 250usd for this kind of customer service, to do the "Tour" at least 7 times STEP BY STEP and it still keeps on resetting. All I want to do is speak or email with a technical expert, without your followers or your nonexperts reiterating to follow the "tour" step by step, which I did multiple times.....you may consider it rude, but I consider it to be poor customer service and we are probably both right. Honestly, I'm starting to feel like this is a scam because I have 1 week before I get stuck with what I'm starting to believe is a broken router.

Now let's try to resolve the problem, nobody told me to update the firmware, so that's a No. I will try it tonight, so far since I rebooted my router I had no problems, but that was only a couple hours ago.
