Avtennisman
I've had problems over the past few days with my Netduma R1 Gaming Router I do have an existing network and it has all my devices connected and even when I just have my xbox connected to the netduma im limited kbs I only average about 4000kbps with my Ethernet to my netduma im pretty sure its a low number cause my other router is taking up all the bandwith when I have my IPS router connected to my xbox via Ethernet cable it gives me 8000 kbps which is what I need or something around that the other problem is that it says I live in Australia when I clearly live in FL I noticed that when I tried to use the geo filter so I could put it so I only connect to the U.S. and remember this is nearly mins after I finally got the netduma to work and im trying to fix my location and I run into changing the hz and I put it to 5hz and it completely shut it off I tried to look for the network and it wasn't appearing no matter how many times I did the setup process so 2 days later AKA today im trying to fix it and I reset the netduma router and it pops up as a network but it is saying my password is incorrect or it is having difficulties connecting to my Netduma ext. please help me ASAP im really un patient and I have been waiting the longest to get this setup. The default password is netduma1. Just change the geo-location to the U.S and it will remember it. Also as a final step go to "Settings" then Misc and turn on and off the features I list. Enable deep packet processing. DISABLE Allow auto feedback(no personal data ever) to help improve the R1. ENABLE Allow remote access to Netduma tech support. DISABLE Enable upnp forwarding. ENABLE Enable multicast snooping. ENABLE Enable link-local IPv6. DISABLE Access control panel from WAN(not recommend). DISABLE Enable cookies. """"""""""""'ENABLE"""" DON'T FORGET THIS OPTION. Enable wifi work-around. DISABLE Stealth Mode. ENABLE Now back to your speeds, are you using WIFI to check your speeds? If you game you should connect via cable to the router for the max speeds. Also go to www.speedtest.net and post your results, don't trust xbox live or PSN to give you correct speeds. Or just go into the router and do an Internet Diagnosis. I would do both
bagsta69
Also make sure when doing the speed test that the congestion sliders are at 100%

I would do both where in the settings should I go to change it to the U.S and why does it not automatically pick up my location in FL ??????? bagsta69
Go to host filtering page and click on the icon of the house under geo filter settings then move your cursor over where you live and click the mouse. The Australian home is the default setting that it is shipped with. Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted August 19, 2015 Netduma Staff Share Posted August 19, 2015 I've done that geo filtering thing before and it still says I live in Australia Just move your home location back to where you live Don't worry about the Wifi light, as long as you have Wifi that is what matters. I would do both my ping is 19 my download is 34 and my upload is .6 i want to try to get a 10-15 ping
Trolling_Farm
Your upload is .6? Thats weird and maybe you should look into correcting that first. You have a ping of 19 and that is actually really good. You can't adjust your ping it all depends on your ISP. Also your ping is 19 to the goggle server your ping will change on each server you connect to. Lets look into why your upload is .6 Where did you get those numbers from? bagsta69
You will not notice any difference between 19 ms ping and 10-15 ms. run the internet diagnosis test and this will give you a baseline ping. As in the best you can expect to get.
