I'm badly in need of new music. Anyone have any recommendations for me & others on the forum?

Only fair that I suggest a couple too:

I Am Giant

New Zealand / English band, not as well known as they should be:

Royal Blood

UK band, debut went to #1 here in the UK a few months ago:

(It doesn't have to be a rock band, I'll listen to pretty much anything)

P.S. Inb4 Iain with his weird Techno recommendations

Three days Grace

Zebrahead

Yeah they are still of the rock variant but I enjoy them :)

Yes Buds! I'm 30 seconds into Zebrahead and already enjoying it.

Like Three Days Grace - was re listening to One-X over the weekend coincidentally.

Thanks

No worries. Which song / album did you try? Some slightly heavier stuff would be:

Dope

Drowning Pool

There is a theme here? :)

Like Drowning Pool a lot. Dope are good, maybe slightly too heavy for me - they're right on the edge of my threshold! Do you like Death from Above 1979? Amaing band

You and I have very, very similar music taste. I think The Black Keys are my favourite band at the moment.

I'm going to try these four that I hadn't heard of:

Murder by Death

Dispatch (the general)

Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes

Rebelution

Thanks for the tips

Hadn't heard the band Luke but I'll check them out based on your recommendation. Seems like we are on similar tastes.

Really enjoying the Royal Blood album just now
