Dirty Dog
Hey peeps, ISP router tells me i'm synced to the exchange @ 6.27 Mbps down 880 Kbps up. Are these figures more accurate than an online speedtest to enter in the "Set Bandwidth" section of the Duma? Secondly, with the above figures in mind, would I gain any benefit from lowering my Up/Down Cap, to reduce lag spikes and wot not? Or, as I have so little upload to play with, set it 100%?? I'm the only person using the connection btw. Thanks in advance
Buds
You router sync speed will typically be less than your actual speed. Try some speedtests and take an average to enter your 'actual' speed. If you are the only one using your connection (and not planning on downloading / streaming whilst gaming) I'd just leave at 100%.
Dirty Dog
Thanks for the info, Buds. Your answer appears to have been, "Duma-certified" lol..
Od1n
i set my R1 to 1,0 mbits upload while my true upload is 1,2 mbits when i upload something the R1 does identify that, in the network monitor the upload scale shows 100% useage but the graph shows 1,2 mbits, so you dont waste your remaining connection when setting less bandwidth in your R1 therefore id say yes, it work as some kind of savety for lag will test out with 1,2mbits later maybe to see how it goes then
crazy joker
there is a way to exclude the ' xbox one from Anti -flood ?if I lower the parameters to 70 % is also lower on xbox one
Guest Netduma_Iain
No you can't, the numbers added up to 100%(the decimal points are not shown). So all the devices on your network must add up to 100%. If a device is not on your network you can remove it by going to "Device Manager" & clicking "Edit" at the top. From there you can delete/block devices if you want
kizvandutch
Congestion control is only necessary if you have too much internet flooding usage. If I stream music i put it around 60-70%.
