Every 15 minutes noticably stutter in CoD & discord (R3)

Every 15 minutes, I experience a noticeable 2–3 second freeze in CoD, and I can’t hear anyone in Discord during that time. My ping doesn’t increase when the freeze occurs.

Everything worked perfectly fine for five months before this issue started. Since then, I’ve been experiencing these freezes every day.

I haven’t made any firmware updates before the issue started. Only after the freezes began did I update to the latest firmware version, 4.0.1519, but the problem persisted. I also tried downgrading to firmware version 4.0.540, but I’m still experiencing the same freezes.

I’ve disabled all filtering features, such as Geo-Filter and SmartBOOST, but that doesn’t seem to be the cause. I’ve also replaced all the LAN cables, but that didn’t help either.

I’ve attached my log file as well, in case it helps identify the cause of the issue.

  1. We'd need the full logs rather than a screenshot snippet.
  2. What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode
  3. Are ALL devices connected to the R3?
  4. What are the speeds you pay for/receive?
  5. Have you entered those speeds into the router?
  6. How have you setup Congestion Control (usually)?
  7. How have you setup SmartBOOST (usually)?
  8. What platform are you playing on and how is it connected, via ethernet or WiFi?
  9. How have you setup the Geo-Filter (usually)?

I mean usually how do you have SmartBOOST/Congestion Control/Geo-Filter enabled? As not using them is likely to make the issue worse rather than better.

@Krush What do you mean?

He means have you changed your DNS to use something else like 8.8.8.8 or are you using your ISP DNS/default?

Thanks for the log, it appears your public IP is renewing every 30 minutes, usually you wouldn't notice this happen but due to the frequency it is happening you're more likely to have instances where you do. Have you stopped using the ISP router recently or stopped paying for a static IP etc? Do you get the same issue if you connect directly to the ONT?
