Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted Wednesday at 08:17 AM Administrators Posted Wednesday at 08:17 AM You can do that in Settings > WAN > Advanced then enable DNS Override and you can enter it there
Redflame Posted yesterday at 01:06 AM Author Posted yesterday at 01:06 AM Hi Fraser, I have tried twice now over two different nights and no dice. i notice it says this on log when I do it.. user.err com.netdumasoftware.settings: failed to get UCI section for underlying WAN device I have attached the logs in case you need to see them yourself. after inputting the IPv4 values (I don’t use 6) it doesn’t save. As if save has no functionality. Duma wan error log .txt
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted yesterday at 08:22 AM Administrators Posted yesterday at 08:22 AM Is this on the very latest version from Friday? https://forum.netduma.com/topic/61172-new-r3-firmware-dumaos-401442/ If not upgrade to that do you get the same issue? If you're on that, downgrade to the previous EA version do you get the same issue? What DNS are you entering?

If you're on that, downgrade to the previous EA version do you get the same issue? What DNS are you entering? Same results on both. I tried multiple DNS servers - 1.1.1.1, 8.8.8.8, and a custom one - same result each time. Plan for Monday: I’ll factory reset and also add my eeros into the network for better WiFi reachability. Currently using a cheap WiFi plug to extend coverage for my stepdad’s part of the house, and I want to make sure his connection is solid and reliable once the eeros are in. My planned setup: PS5 - wired into R3 ROG Ally X - wired into R3 (used mainly for BB testing, no laptop currently) Phones, TVs, Fire Stick/streaming - on eero WiFi A few questions on the R3 side: Should I turn off R3’s WiFi radios entirely once eero is handling wireless, or is there a reason to leave them on alongside eero? Do you have any guidance on running eero in bridge/AP mode behind R3, so R3 stays the single router (DHCP/PPPoE/shaping) and eero is just handling WiFi? Any settings you’d recommend to keep SmartBOOST/shaping working correctly for the wired PS5 and ROG Ally once eero’s added into the mix? I really appreciate all the help you’re giving me on my issue. Thank you so much
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted 7 hours ago Administrators Posted 7 hours ago The team are looking into the saving issue currently so I don't think it's just your side. You can disable R3 WiFi, no need for both. No specific guidance in that regard, what you've mentioned should work just fine. There isn't any you need to set specifically when adding those devices just prioritize what you want to prioritize, Congestion Control might need a little fine tuning with it not handling all devices directly but shouldn't change too much.
