youfibre not using pppoe

hi  i am looking to switch isp   to youfibre  but dont want to use there router    but been told they dont use pppoe   to conect to there network  is there a way around this   to get my r3 to conect to there ont and work without there router as i am not wanting to have to use there router

You don't need PPPoE to connect the router to their ONT, you can just connect them and it should work unless they've specifically put measures in place to ensure you use their router connected to the ONT. You can just connect the R3 to their router otherwise.

I have been reading online a need to clone the mac address  from there router  so must be locked  for there routers  anyone else on here  tried to connect  to youfibre     with there r3

You can put that router MAC address into the R3 if needed, if that's the only thing they check for then it should work. Most likely but I couldn't say for certain or tell you who it could be
