ITZPEDROHDI Posted yesterday at 01:50 AM Posted yesterday at 01:50 AM is DMZ same as port forwarding ? and is it recommended
DanologyUK Posted yesterday at 08:45 AM Posted yesterday at 08:45 AM Putting a device's IP into the DMZ is the same as port forwarding ALL ports for that device. It essentially lets through all traffic but opens you to some risk as all ports are open, should a would-be hacker wish to try and connect. I would recommend putting consoles into the DMZ but not a PC for example. ITZPEDROHDI 1

Those two things are really at odds with each other. If you want to use the DMZ then just keep UPnP enabled and that will work for the PC ITZPEDROHDI 1
