Reykc9510 Posted February 11 Posted February 11 Is there a way I can set up the geo filter for 2 different games, an radius be in different places for both without having to move the radius manually an reboot the R3?
DARKNESS Posted February 11 Posted February 11 @Reykc9510There isn't an actual profile system for geofilter. They had something somewhat similar in the past, but it wasn’t widely used since it wasn’t custom-made by you, but rather by them. Also, what do you mean by reboot? There is no need to reboot unless you’re running into the geofilter stack bugs that are caused by UPnP causing memory leak issues.
Reykc9510 Posted February 11 Author Posted February 11 I made my original profile selecting Playstation but it never gave me an option to a game selection. I noticed if I added a laptop it gave me the option to select a game. I'm not very tech savvy I believe you helped me in the past with some issues. I would have to reboot my router when I moved the geo circle radius from one area to another when I changed games. Even tho I moved the radius it still would connect to the previous area on a different game. I play arx raiders an use the servers in Europe, black ops 7 I use the radius down by Florida where I live.
DARKNESS Posted February 12 Posted February 12 @Reykc9510What you can do is just use polygon mode for one game and use circle for the other. Easy workaround only if you’re playing two games, etc. You do have to have geolatency off to enforce rules to be strict. I haven’t tried Arc Raiders so I don’t know if the filter works correctly since there are games that aren’t compatible. Do keep in mind you'll have to manually allow authentication servers.
Reykc9510 Posted February 12 Author Posted February 12 Ok, I found if I resync the geo filter it works with resetting it after I move the radius. Tryin to find better servers to play arc raiders. Them guys in there are relentless campers.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 12 Administrators Posted February 12 You can't setup to apply different locations/radius sizes etc for different games, this was something we were considering/looking into the feasibility of adding, it may come in the future. Reykc9510 1
