DARKNESS Posted January 5 Posted January 5 @DirtytamatoI’m not sure about your exact setup, but if you’re using a switch box through walls or similar configurations, try enabling STP (Spanning Tree Protocol) under settings > advanced.
DARKNESS Posted January 5 Posted January 5 @DirtytamatoCould you clarify the type of modem you're using? It might need specific configuration. Additionally, since you mentioned the disconnects occurred with your R2, do these issues still happen when you're connected directly to the modem? If they do, the problem likely isn't with the router but something else.
Dirtytamato Posted January 5 Author Posted January 5 Nope, the r2 works perfectly. The disconects are with the r3 and battlefield 6. I have an ISP supplied modem on the side of the house

I logged back onto bf6 and got the typical 10-15 minutes of game time before it kicked all hard wired devices offline. I have since rebooted it so they will come back online. Not sure what it is about bf6 that this router doesn't like. It doesn't make any sense really - could you disable BI/DPI in Settings > Troubleshooting > Advanced > Developer Options, reboot from the interface, wait 4 minutes and then try again please?
Dirtytamato Posted January 5 Author Posted January 5 You've been wonderful to work with, but honestly at this point I think I'm ready for a refund. It shouldn't take all of this just to make it work. I ended up plugging my r2 back in last night and it works perfectly. Even the 2.4 works better than the r3 and my vacuum can connect to it 🤣
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 5 Administrators Posted January 5 We've not had anyone have this issue before and in those scenarios it's usually some unique aspect of the persons setup contributing to the issue, it's likely we'll get to the bottom of it with continued troubleshooting but if you'd like to return just email us and we can go from there.
