The geo filter is not working properly for black ops 7. I have tried several servers and ping assist. And just also camping one server. But the same thing happens. After one of two games, the game won't connect me to a match anymore. It tries to connect me to servers way further. I play on pc with the xbox app. Nat type is open. Pc is labeled as playstation on the router. I have call of duty prioritized on smart boost and i still get packet burst. Congestion control is at 50/50 which is what keeps my buffer bloat under control. I just dont know what to do to make anything better.

Are you letting it search for a game after you've finished a game i.e. you don't go back to the lobby and manually search again? Can you provide a screenshot of your Geo-Filter page please?

  1. What router are you using and what firmware version is it on?
  2. What is the model of the modem/router the DumaOS router is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the DumaOS router? E.g DumaOS router in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode
  3. Are ALL devices connected to the DumaOS router?
  4. What are the speeds you pay for/receive?
  5. Have you entered those speeds into the router?

Prioritize your device on SmartBOOST also.

1. Netduma r3 version 4.0.540

2. Its a spectrum modem EU2251

3. All devices are connected to the r3

4. I get 1gb down 40 upload

5. The speeds that the r3 recorded are a bit slower than offered but i do not mind. I get 700 down 30 up

The game disbands me from every lobby after a game. I am not shadow banned. And idk what early access is.

Ah I thought you may already be in it, try the firmware there: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/

Your radius is quite small, if you expand it to include at least one other server is the experience better overall?

Ive tried part of the east coast and sometimes it just works sometimes it doesn't or i have to restart the game. I will give this a try tomorrow since i gotta get ready for Thanksgiving dinner with the family. Will let you know if it works.

Upon further testing i think its just the games matchmaking that is messed up. Without the netduma after a couple of games and the lobby disbands i cannot find another game. I have to reset the game. Now camping a server with the netduma is a hit or miss in my experience. I play the game through the Xbox app on pc not sure if that could be an issue. But i sincerely give up on trying to enjoy this game.

That is very strange! I can't think why that would be, how you're playing it shouldn't really make a difference. Just in case it helps for whatever reason do this:

  1. Quit the application/game/client completely - including the game client from the System Tray - important!
  2. Remove device from the Geo-Filter
  3. If you're on PC then give it the PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager
  4. Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu
  5. Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter
  6. Set up the Geo-Filter how you like
  7. Wait 2 minutes
  8. Boot up application/game/client

It's essential the Geo-Filter is enabled before the game client or the game have been launched. If you change Geo-Filter settings when you're on the game then you will need to restart the game for those changes to take effect, otherwise it will use the previous Geo-Filter settings and appear not to be working.
