Hi guys

I have the new bf6 and xr500. The XR doesn't acknowledge the create new rule doesn't detect bf6 is playing or cod.

The ping heat map after resync not showing any new games like cod blops 6 or if bf6 been added by netduma heat map.

Are you on the beta version for the XR500? By create new rule are you talking about Traffic Prioritization? If so add your PC as a console and it will prioritize the game still.

I'm playing bf6 and cod on ps5. 

The ping heat map never syncs up with new games. 

I was on the beta firmware think it's 535. 

Yeah create rule for traffic the cod doesn't show red or battlefield 6 on frostbite section

Resync the cloud on Heatmap, if it's not updating I'll have to check with the team to see if they updated the cloud for the XR, if not they'll have to do that. 

When you add your PS5 add with the Games Console option and it will prioritize, you should do that for a console, not pick a specific game

U said something about a beta firmware. How do I check that and fix that, if that could be causing the issues.

No you should stay in beta. It would be a cloud update that is needed, you don't need to do anything, when we've done it your router would update that aspect automatically

Is that correct, is that why got these problems

As mentioned it's to do with the cloud, not the firmware, I've asked the team about getting it updated.

Again, for a console, the specific game should not be selected, as you can see gaming and the console have activity is detected which is expected, it would not show for the Frostbite option.

535 is the DumaOS version but you're not actually on the beta version, that would be .134

Upgrade to the beta firmware, it's more likely to work on that one, if it doesn't it requires a cloud update, nothing to do on your side

I was on my beta firmware before and don't know why it's updated to xR500 V2.3.3.136,  Do netduma push automatic firmware updates for it to goto this.   

Is it 535 got upgrade to.

NTGR do have automatic updates yes, I gave you the link to it previously: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/51611-new-xr500-beta-firmware-33535

After you've upgraded, on the firmware update page you can disable auto update

XR500 V2.3.2.134-dumaos33-rc14  now on this firmware I'm getting the games appear 

 

 This right having it ticked for auto updates has updated the firmware off the ND beta to netgears 1.36, why not netdumas firmware?

Are there now 2 firmwares for it one from yourself and one from Netgear. Just thought having auto updates on be good thing for security patches from yourselves.

Yes that's correct - it's complicated but you are on the latest in terms of DumaOS and you still have the security updates that are public on the version you're on now so all good
