ExcellentZERO Posted October 19 Posted October 19 Hey frazer and team. In battlefield 6 I am experiencing High ping and in other games I am not. this is very weird. any tips for this to not happen?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 19 Administrators Posted October 19 We'll need some more information, do you get the same high ping directly connected to your ISP modem/router for example? Are you using the Geo-Filter? Yoda 1
ExcellentZERO Posted October 19 Author Posted October 19 I am using geo filter but I turned off geo location and steady ping. I tested by via two different games. COD = 36-39 ping Bf = 55-66 ping server is connecting to a server outside southern Africa for battlefield 6 server ID VNW15
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 19 Administrators Posted October 19 Do you mean Geo-Latency? Do this: Quit the application/game/client completely - including from the System Tray if on PC Remove device from the Geo-Filter If you're on PC then give it the PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Ping Assist should also be disabled and if you change Geo-Filter settings while on the game you'll need to restart the game.
