Battlefield 6 high ping

Hey frazer and team.

 

In battlefield 6 I am experiencing High ping and in other games I am not. this is very weird. any tips for this to not happen?

We'll need some more information, do you get the same high ping directly connected to your ISP modem/router for example? Are you using the Geo-Filter?

I am using geo filter but I turned off geo location and steady ping. 

I tested by via two different games. 

COD = 36-39 ping 

Bf = 55-66 ping 

server is connecting to a server outside southern Africa for battlefield 6

Do you mean Geo-Latency? 

Do this:

1. Quit the application/game/client completely - including from the System Tray if on PC
2. Remove device from the Geo-Filter
3. If you're on PC then give it the PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager
4. Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu
5. Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter
6. Set up the Geo-Filter how you like
7. Wait 2 minutes
8. Boot up application/game/client

Ping Assist should also be disabled and if you change Geo-Filter settings while on the game you'll need to restart the game.
