akuronoka0617 Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Hello. Thank you for your hard work in addressing issues. I’m currently in Korea and use a geo-filter to enjoy gaming on west American servers. I recently played Battlefield 6, and during the beta version, the geo-filter worked perfectly, allowing me to play on west American servers. However, after the official release, it seems the geo-filter is not functioning properly. Other games, like Call of Duty, still seem to work fine with the geo-filter. Could you suggest any solutions I could try to resolve this issue?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 12 Administrators Posted October 12 How is it not functioning correctly exactly? Just not allowing you into those far away servers?
akuronoka0617 Posted October 12 Author Posted October 12 Spoiler As shown in the attached image, I was able to set a geo-filter for the western U.S. region, allowing me to play games as if I were using a VPN from the western U.S. This worked during the Battlefield 6 beta, but the geo-filter has not been working since the official release. Spoiler
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 12 Administrators Posted October 12 Disable Geo-Latency, does it work better then?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 12 Administrators Posted October 12 Good to hear, thanks for the update!
akuronoka0617 Posted October 15 Author Posted October 15 I’m experiencing another issue where matching is not working properly. Occasionally, it does match, but most of the time, it seems to fail. When I checked the geofilter settings, I had set the geofence to the U.S. West Coast region, but it says it matched with a server in Oklahoma, which is outside the geofence, and the matching still doesn’t work. Could you please suggest any solutions for this? One notable detail is that when matching works, it shows a server within the U.S. West Coast region set by the geofilter, but when it doesn’t work, it always indicates a connection to an Oklahoma city server.

There is a cloud update mid release currently that should help with this, you should have it by the end of the week
