18RayF Posted October 8 Posted October 8 Battlenet disconnects and also shows not signed into profile every time when loading COD what can be the cause ?
DARKNESS Posted October 9 Posted October 9 @18RayF If it's happening every day, then you're likely blocking a relay server with the geofilter. If it just started happening recently, it's most likely a server issue on Battle.net's end.
18RayF Posted October 9 Author Posted October 9 Been happening every day for last couple months now , how do I reset the geo filter ?
DARKNESS Posted October 9 Posted October 9 @18RayF A reset will not resolve the issue. Instead, try disabling the device on the Geo-Filter or identify the relay server by monitoring the Geo-Filter while connecting to the servers. Once you identify the relevant servers, either allow them or create a precise polygon around their location. This is recommended as there are typically multiple servers within the same area, and manually allowing each one repeatedly would be time-consuming. If you're not using a geofilter, the issue is likely unrelated and could instead be due to drivers or a NAT problem, though that is rare. The admin will be available tomorrow for further assistance.
18RayF Posted October 9 Author Posted October 9 So I’ve connected PC to AP and this works fine but LAN doesn’t work for some reason. Not sure why
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 9 Administrators Posted October 9 Did you disable the Geo-Filter and check that way? We don't know what your physical setup is to determine why that might of worked, if you provide us with some more information about this we can advise
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 9 Administrators Posted October 9 So you still experience the issue with the Geo-Filter fully disabled?
18RayF Posted October 9 Author Posted October 9 Yes so sometimes the game loads I can play , other times I load disconnects me and I have to keep restarting . Also with geo filter why does servers I deny keep connecting ? For example I have all servers outside of London on deny and it still connects to Paris servers
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 9 Administrators Posted October 9 What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Do you have an Open NAT? Disable Geo-Latency in Geo-Filter settings and it will stick to your radius.
18RayF Posted October 10 Author Posted October 10 So I have my ONT directly connected to my DumaR3 WAN . Not sure if it’s Open NAT
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 10 Administrators Posted October 10 Presumably that means the ONT doesn't give you any WiFi at all? Do you get the same issue with the client/game if you connect your PC via ethernet to the ONT instead?
18RayF Posted October 10 Author Posted October 10 Correct so ONT doesn’t provide WiFi . I can’t connect PC directly to ONT so can’t test that unfortunately.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 10 Administrators Posted October 10 You said its been happening for the last few months, did it happen after changing anything physically or via settings etc?
18RayF Posted October 10 Author Posted October 10 I haven’t changed anything physically and I changed some settings MTU and lowered Transmit and receive buffers to 256 on mu network adapter on my PC but I reverted them back to original settings and still had same issue.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 10 Administrators Posted October 10 Have you made any port forwarding rules, internet traffic rules etc? Disable Adblocker on the router if it isn't already and check again please. I've given you Early Access so you can upgrade to that and see if it continues https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/
18RayF Posted October 10 Author Posted October 10 Nope I used to have manual port forwarding but I deleted them as I use UPNP, thanks for that I will try and let you know how it goes. Also when I perform bufferbloat test I have huge spikes on download max ping I can attach picture below . Do you know what can cause this ?

You'll need to fine tune your Congestion Control download percentage to find what works best for you. Once you upgrade this can be found in Ping Optimizer > Advanced
18RayF Posted October 10 Author Posted October 10 ive done this but makes no sense with my results , i used the auto optimiser for a baseline , ive lowered to 51% for download but the max ping on download still is 249 ms . When can we expect the new update with ACC to be rolled out?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 10 Administrators Posted October 10 Follow this guide https://support.netduma.com/frequently-asked-questions/legacyfaqs/test-your-ping/ while downloading & start with 95% for Congestion Control (set to Always), check results, decrease by 10%, check, decrease by 10% etc, until you get to a value that is pretty good & then try 5% either side of that value to see if it can be improved. Download & Upload on Congestion Control don't have to be the same value & you may have a better experience with differing values. This is a more real test than the test you're using. We don't give out any ETAs, we're working on it. You can answer the poll here to be in with a chance to test it early when it becomes available https://forum.netduma.com/topic/60353-answer-this-topic-to-be-in-with-the-chance-to-beta-test-a-firmware-with-new-features
18RayF Posted October 10 Author Posted October 10 So I have done that but for download my max spikes to 270ms etc potentially shows too much bandwidth is allocated on download but I have lowered it from 90% to 51% in increments of 5 even by 2 still getting these high spikes compared to unloaded baseline. I can’t seem to figure out the issue

18RayF Posted October 11 Author Posted October 11 I believed ive fixed the issue using a raspberry pi 5 running sqm shaping traffic on ingress and egress between my duma R3 and ONT.Before and after
