I have fiber 1000/1000. I have a ps5 pro up until recently my upload speed has been severely capped.

I noticed that my allocated upload speed is 300 kbps. Ping optimizer isn't working at all and is actually making my ping higher or it keeps crashing. My normal speeds were 700-800 download and upload 150-250mbps. Now I barely hit 50 for upload and my game feels severely delayed. My ping when I first set up the router was 3-4. I have tried everything possible and have factory reset numerous times

Gaming doesn't use much bandwidth at all so that is correct, that's just what it needs at that moment. The ping shown on Ping Optimizer is to the server it uses for the test so it doesn't mean your game ping or any other ping will be that high or that could be higher depending, what it's done is determined a good result to keep your base ping as low as possible which then means your connection should be less affected by local congestion.

Where are you testing the speeds exactly? What do you get via a wired PC to speedtest.net? What is your ping shown in game and through the Geo-Filter?

  • What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode
  • Are ALL devices connected to the R3?
  • Have you entered your speeds into the router?
  • How is Congestion Control setup (Ping Optimizer > Advanced)?
  • How have you setup SmartBOOST?
  • What game are you playing?
  • What platform are you playing on and how is it connected, via ethernet or WiFi?
  • How have you setup the Geo-Filter?
