PPPoE Connection not reconnecting after modem/bridge resync

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

I am using my NetDuma R3 behind a Huawei modem in bridge mode. The R3 is handling the PPPoE session. The problem is that whenever the internet drops or the modem resyncs, the R3 does not automatically reconnect to PPPoE. I always need to reboot the R3 or manually reconnect from the WAN settings.

Is there any fix or upcoming firmware update to make the R3 auto-reconnect after a line drop?

Thank you.

I've added you to Early Access so you can try that firmware to see if it works better for you but otherwise we are aware and working on a fix. In the meantime you could take it out of bridge and put the R3 in its DMZ instead so the R3 doesn't handle PPPoE and the issue won't happen
