Mohamed87 Posted Monday at 09:53 AM Posted Monday at 09:53 AM (edited) I am using my NetDuma R3 behind a Huawei modem in bridge mode. The R3 is handling the PPPoE session. The problem is that whenever the internet drops or the modem resyncs, the R3 does not automatically reconnect to PPPoE. I always need to reboot the R3 or manually reconnect from the WAN settings. Is there any fix or upcoming firmware update to make the R3 auto-reconnect after a line drop? Thank you. Edited Monday at 09:55 AM by Mohamed87
Devastate Posted Monday at 12:14 PM Posted Monday at 12:14 PM The workaround I use is this . I am able to successfully upgrade to the latest version with these steps, replacing step 3 with the latest firmware. This solves that PPPoE issue for me. Mohamed87 1
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted Monday at 02:04 PM Administrators Posted Monday at 02:04 PM I've added you to Early Access so you can try that firmware to see if it works better for you but otherwise we are aware and working on a fix. In the meantime you could take it out of bridge and put the R3 in its DMZ instead so the R3 doesn't handle PPPoE and the issue won't happen https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/ Mohamed87 1
