Netduma R3 - PS5 Console VPN

Hello Netduma Support Team,

I am experiencing an issue with my Netduma R3 router when trying to use the Hybrid VPN feature with my PS5.

Issue Description:

• When I enable the VPN for my PS5 without adding any Limit or Bypass rules, the PS5 fails to connect to the internet.

• I have tried multiple NordVPN servers (Standard UAE servers, UDP protocol) and also configured DNS settings, but the PS5 still fails the internet connection test.

• On the Netduma R2, a similar setup would allow full-device VPN while keeping the PS5 connected, without the need for specific rules.

Goal:
I want the R3 to behave similarly to the R2, where enabling VPN for a device allows all traffic to go through the VPN without breaking PSN connectivity, without requiring bypass or limit rules.

Steps Already Tried:

1. Using different NordVPN servers (Standard, UAE, OpenVPN UDP)

2. Setting DNS manually on the router and PS5

3. Attempting minimal PSN bypass rules

 

The reason of purchasing Netduma router was to use Hybrid VPN for my PS5, I received the router before 3 days and I really hope to find a solution.
