How have you set the EE router to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode

Are ALL devices connected to the R3 or are some still connected to the EE router?

Have you entered the speeds you pay for into the router?

How have you setup Congestion Control?

How have you setup SmartBOOST?

What platform are you testing speeds on and how is it connected, via ethernet or WiFi?

Where are you testing the speeds?

i conect to the ont through pppoe with the  login as if it was a ee router  and  its fibre    is that not better than using 2 routers ?

Was just about to say, PPPoE will be the cause and so it would be best to use the EE router to have that handle it instead and plug the R3 into that, then you'd have full speeds. You can put the R3 in the DMZ on the EE router and ensure you connect all devices to the R3 and you won't be at any disadvantage. Added you to early access https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/

Completely different routers & software, though whether you noticed it or not you wouldn't have been able to throttle upload properly with PPPoE on the XR500. No that wouldn't help, you need PPPoE for a connection and so if the R3 handles it then currently speeds will be lost, we are working to improve it

is there a way to manualy set the speeds direct to each device    bandwidth alocation     the software on the xr500 was easy to use   compared to this  i have  updated to the early access  seems like i am getting same speeds now as with the xr500   was there a pppoe fix in that update
