as you can see, the list is still old, did the resync cloud and still shows old titles. Will there be a fix for it? I'm on the main official firmware version (V2.3.3.136)

I believe if you go back to the beta you should see it has updated, this is because it needs 3.3 for the updated cloud system. The beta update will actually be more up to date than that version even though it appears otherwise

But is the geo filter up to date on my current firmware version? Or do I have to switch over to the beta?

It does appear to be out of date, you will need to go to the beta where it should then be updated, if not let us know

I really do wanna stay on the official firmware from Netgear.

The Geo-Filter would still work, just some aspects like adding new games would be out of date. I do understand your hesitation, however, I am 99% certain the beta already has the security updates mentioned as when they are fixed are not when they're announced, for example:

It was ~3 years between when they fixed PSV-2023-0039 and when they announced it. Our beta version was released over a year later so by that the firmware is still up to date on security for just under another year.

I have just read on Netgear that XR500 is on End Of Service and won't get security updates anymore and they suggest that I should upgrade to a newer model... I guess I have to stop using the XRR500 router then...

When I searched for XR500, there was a title that said "End Of Service. Is there a conformation thats the case? And by the way, are you guys gonna do the continuation of security updates for XR500?

Yeah I know but what I mean is on the End of Service page that lists all the EoS models it's not there yet so I wouldn't say it's definitive until it appears there also.

As above security updates are purely NTGR so it's not something we'd continue

With the latest firmware update, the ping heatmap is showing the latest list now. What more did Netgear add to the latest firmware?

Updated to FW v2.3.3.136.

Resynced ping heatmap, and it's still the old list.

Not an issue though.
My PS5 has a static IP, so I removed it from the device list, drew a fresh "fence" using polygon mode, and added the PS5 back in, and now it seems to adhere to the geoblock.

Some light shimmering og jittering from time to time, but that looks to be my PS5 dropping frames.

No suggestions, but the official XR500 page does indeed say 'End Of service'

I wouldn't worry too much about it just yet, but will consider replacing it within the next 12 months if Netgear doesn't do anuything concrete like adding it to thje official EOS list

You'll need to be on the beta firmware for it at the moment.
