Mehmet Posted August 4, 2025 Posted August 4, 2025 Hi everyone. My modem doesn't have bridge mode. What should I do to make the router work better instead?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 4, 2025 Administrators Posted August 4, 2025 Copy the R3 WAN IP from the WAN Settings page and enter that into your ISP modem/router DMZ/exposed host function. Set that IP as a static/reserved IP on the ISP modem/router so it doesn't change and you're good to go. Then just make sure all devices are connected to the R3 and not the modem.
Mehmet Posted August 4, 2025 Author Posted August 4, 2025 Ok Frazer. Do I need to disable UPNP, DHCP, WiFi and firewalls on the modem?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 4, 2025 Administrators Posted August 4, 2025 If devices might automatically connect back to the ISP modem/router WiFi then you could disable that. You don't need to do anything else though other than what has been mentioned so far Mehmet 1
