Mehmet Posted August 4 Posted August 4 Hi everyone. My modem doesn't have bridge mode. What should I do to make the router work better instead?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 4 Administrators Posted August 4 Copy the R3 WAN IP from the WAN Settings page and enter that into your ISP modem/router DMZ/exposed host function. Set that IP as a static/reserved IP on the ISP modem/router so it doesn't change and you're good to go. Then just make sure all devices are connected to the R3 and not the modem.
Mehmet Posted August 4 Author Posted August 4 Ok Frazer. Do I need to disable UPNP, DHCP, WiFi and firewalls on the modem?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 4 Administrators Posted August 4 If devices might automatically connect back to the ISP modem/router WiFi then you could disable that. You don't need to do anything else though other than what has been mentioned so far Mehmet 1
