Simon Thomas
I have this weird situation where my download speed goes up to the max and then drops back down to 1 mbps. It alternates between the two every second. I did a factory reset but still have the same issue. Logs attached. Please help. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted Monday at 09:04 PM Administrators Share Posted Monday at 09:04 PM How/where are you measuring that happen exactly? Is this while doing an actual download, not a speed test? If so where are you downloading from?
Simon Thomas
The speed test is done on the netduma r3 dashboard. It's not while doing a download. Not only this but I've been having internet drop outs. I hadn't changed anything for this to happen
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted Monday at 09:56 PM Administrators Share Posted Monday at 09:56 PM Do speedtest.net, do you see the same behavior there? Is the internet dropping for all devices or specific devices? Is it being dropped from the game or definitely internet? Does it reconnect automatically or do you need to do anything to restore it? Simon Thomas
Yes the same issue with speedtest.net. See below, don in quick succession, my speeds are all over the place. Dont know why this has happened out of the blue. I pay for 900 down and 50 up and congestion control is set to 100% for each. Yes it drops on all devices. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted Tuesday at 02:18 PM Administrators Share Posted Tuesday at 02:18 PM What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the R3? Have you entered your expected speeds into the router? How have you setup Congestion Control (Ping Optimizer > Advanced)? How have you setup SmartBOOST? Are you testing via ethernet or WiFi and is there a difference?
Simon Thomas
Yes all devices are connected to it. Yes i have entered the speeds into the R3. I factory reset the R3 and the issue still occurs without reinserting my old settings. I am always connected via ethernet
