I just rebooted my router and it REFUSES the password I've used for a year now. So now I have to factory reset my router to get in because the PW reset pages DONT LOAD. I don't know who makes the firmware for the XR1000 but you should be fired. About to just switch to an ASUS router.

How did you reboot the router exactly? If you unplugged the power suddenly that can make it lose saved settings. If that was it then make your changes then reboot from the interface and that will act as a hard save should it be unplugged in future.

I rebooted the router using the nighthawk app. Then this crap started so I pulled the plug just for it to say my password is wrong. I finally get through the start up settings after a factory reset AND IT WONT EVEN START UP NOW. Says 192.168.1.1 isn't reachable. I've about had it with Duma and their junk OS. My XR450 never had this much issues.

Now im constantly getting this message and "Script failed". I think this thing needs new firmware or a reflash because there's no way it should be like this. I've had issues on and off for the year I've had this router.

The password setup is an NG feature, nothing to do with us. It's possible the IP to access is 10.0.0.1 if your ISP router uses 192.168.1.1 for its login.

That looks like the browser is forcing a connection using HTTPS, in which case disable that in browser settings or a browser based Adblocker is blocking parts of the interface, in which case disable/whitelist the interface

I refreshed the page and it stopped giving me errors. I have no router/modem from the ISP because I have Fiber. Adblock/Noscript were disabled at this time.

Now randomly nothing can obtain an IP Address from the router of DHCP. This is absolutely BS.

Have you disabled DHCP at all? Reboot the router from the interface, close the interface and wait 4 minutes before trying to access it or connect/use any device and see if everything connects properly then. To prevent that happening in the future also give static/reserved IPs for devices on the DHCP page

After rebooting a few times, it solved itself. No idea why. Now the OS is acting snappy and loads faster than it has. Devices are connecting again. I think the firmware installed might be bad. But since it's working as of now I'll wait for the beta to come back and try a clean flash of that instead.

Sounds good, thanks for the update! You can always download the previous version from the Netgear site and downgrade to that, then disable auto update on the firmware update page so it doesn't upgrade itself should issues arise again
