Orionsnet
I just got an R3 last week. When I turned on Adblocker, it would not display adds on www.light.gg. I could tell because in the windows where the adds normally appeared it asked to remove them from my block list because the adds help them pay to keep their site up. I never had to add any custom block for the site for this to work, Ijust turned on Adblocker. Now after a couple days, the adds are back I tried adding the URL https://www.light.gg and http://www.light.gg to the custom URL block list, but it didn't work. For example when I go to this page https://www.light.gg/db/items/3218364298/redrixs-estoc/?p=3250034553,3230963543,2579169598,1015611457,4259401308,150943602,0 the adds are there, but they were not after originally turning on Adblocker. Can you tell me what happened and how to get these adds blocked again? Thanks!
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted Thursday at 02:24 PM Administrators Share Posted Thursday at 02:24 PM I just tested and it's working for me, if you're on the site/have been on it recently and then enabled the Adblocker then it's likely the ads will still show. If you access using an incognito window the ads should then show blocked so you'll need to clear the cache/cookies for that website on your browser and then the ads should get blocked again. Orionsnet
Unfortunately, the ads still show up in incognito window, after clearing the browser cache, and even did a factory reset on the R3 router to start fresh, but the ads still show. I tried turning off the built in Allow List as well an that didn't work either. Any ideas?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted Friday at 02:16 PM Administrators Share Posted Friday at 02:16 PM I've given you Early Access so you can upgrade to the firmware there - that was the firmware I tested it on https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/
