Djalina
Hi Admins, good morning, First of all, I want to confirm that eFootball uses P2P connections for 90% of games in friendly rooms, while it uses peer-to-server connections for events and divisions. I have a Netgear XR1000, and I really can't guarantee a good gaming experience. We have encountered many problems with eFootball and its servers, even with the Geo-Filter enabled. Could you please help me with the following questions? Is there any method to determine whether the game uses UDP or TCP? And on which ports? How can we block only TCP games? When we block eFootball’s port range, we can no longer connect to the game. How can we force UDP games? We know that eFootball uses the 30,000–60,000 port range. Is there any method to force the game to connect to specific servers? Is enabling DMZ a good solution? I analyzed the game logs yesterday when I experienced freezing and found that the game was connected to the Turin server. However, it kept trying to connect to other servers while playing—Japan, Thailand, Brazil… Is that possible? How can we prevent that? Could this be the reason for laggy and freezing games? I have conducted all possible tests, and the game should be running fine: I tested the ping to the server using CMD, and it was perfect throughout the game. I performed a traceroute, and no packet loss was detected. I tested my connection with Netgear and Bufferbloat, and it was rated A+. eFootball is really driving us crazy! Sorry, bro, for all these questions. I hope you can help all of us eFootball players. Thanks a lot 🙏

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 10 Administrators Share Posted April 10 To answer your questions: If you're using the XR1000 now, as you posted in R2 Support, if you have the R2 then yes if you upgrade to DumaOS 4 in Early Access Not possible with the current router settings Not possible with the current router settings They use relay servers which makes it difficult to reliably Geo-Filter, however I have heard that keeping the Japanese region allowed that this then makes Geo-Filtering work correctly so use polygon mode to cover that area in addition to the servers you want to play on and see if that helps (reboot the game once you've made that change) The DMZ is unlikely to make any real difference - if you're playing on PC do not DMZ the PC, it is a major security risk See #4 fae7787

Djalina
Unfortunately Last question, is that possible than a game started on a server then i found on netgear log connexion attempts to other Servers ?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 10 Administrators Share Posted April 10 Yes that's possible, it's likely authentication/relay servers i.e. they connect you to a server, potentially Japan, to then connect you to a server closer to home fae7787
