TxFrog33 Posted April 4 Posted April 4 What do I need to do to achieve this what device should I put in bridge mode in order to achieve using netduma software at the same time?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 4 Administrators Posted April 4 If the R3 is behind the mesh then only devices directly connected to the R3 can use the features/be controlled by the R3. I'd suggest having it the other way around for the best of both worlds, i.e. Modem > R3 > Mesh and no settings need to be changed then TxFrog33 1
TxFrog33 Posted April 4 Author Posted April 4 The only device I want on that R3 would be my computer for gaming
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 4 Administrators Posted April 4 Okay well you don't need to change anything specifically on the R3. It would be a good idea to put the R3 in the Eero DMZ though to ensure you get an Open NAT
TxFrog33 Posted April 6 Author Posted April 6 I have it modem r3 then to my Poe eero switch then to a wall jack that travels all the way to my bedroom at the other end of the house and I can get into my r3 router but it doesn’t see my pc as in devices online in R3 can’t use Geo not sure what’s wrong
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 6 Administrators Posted April 6 It won't see them as online necessarily but all the features will still work. How is the Geo not working exactly? Can you provide a screenshot of the page?
