TxFrog33 Posted April 4, 2025 Posted April 4, 2025 What do I need to do to achieve this what device should I put in bridge mode in order to achieve using netduma software at the same time?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 4, 2025 Administrators Posted April 4, 2025 If the R3 is behind the mesh then only devices directly connected to the R3 can use the features/be controlled by the R3. I'd suggest having it the other way around for the best of both worlds, i.e. Modem > R3 > Mesh and no settings need to be changed then TxFrog33 1
TxFrog33 Posted April 4, 2025 Author Posted April 4, 2025 The only device I want on that R3 would be my computer for gaming
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 4, 2025 Administrators Posted April 4, 2025 Okay well you don't need to change anything specifically on the R3. It would be a good idea to put the R3 in the Eero DMZ though to ensure you get an Open NAT
TxFrog33 Posted April 6, 2025 Author Posted April 6, 2025 I have it modem r3 then to my Poe eero switch then to a wall jack that travels all the way to my bedroom at the other end of the house and I can get into my r3 router but it doesn’t see my pc as in devices online in R3 can’t use Geo not sure what’s wrong
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 6, 2025 Administrators Posted April 6, 2025 It won't see them as online necessarily but all the features will still work. How is the Geo not working exactly? Can you provide a screenshot of the page?
