I have up stream jitters and up stream package loss in counterstrike 2 ( cabel internet in germany) so I decided to get xr1000 because i read everywhere that router/modem that my isp provide is bad (frizbox 6660) and that xr1000 could help. But there is problem , i cant put my frizbox in bridge mode. When i call isp and ask them to put it in bridge mode they say that option for bridge mode is not possible since 2021 😡. Then i just follow setup instructions provide by Netgear and it works but i still get jitters and package loss on upstream. Im connected with ethernet cabel to xr1000 and did few settings in dumaOS. Could you help me because i dont know anything about networking. Latency spikes to 250ms on upload , download. And i turn off wifi on frizbox. Just dont know what to do and what im doing wrong, and even if i did anything good 😂 if you can help please help

@MatijaDid you set it up to always on the QoS page? Because if it’s on auto, then it’s not going to properly apply as it would only apply when it detects certain applications. DMZ isn’t safe, but it’s the only option if you want to open ports while gaming through the XR1000.

@MatijaCool, no big deal. Understandable, as you’re on PC as well, so hackers and DDoS are more prevalent. So for QoS, just tweak your speeds to where you no longer have packet loss. The best way to do this is to run a speed test or use something like Waveform. Do remember to connect all devices to the XR1000 or just simply disable Wi-Fi bands on the Fritzbox if it’s an option.

Reset bandwidth allocation, gaming barely uses any and that won't be making it use more. How did you set Traffic Prioritization?

Are ALL devices connected to the XR?

Looks like you'll need to keep fine tuning the Congestion Control percentages to get a better result there
