rjaaayyy
i recently got new internet and a new provider. When i put it in bridge mode, it recognizes the xr500 as a connected device, but using the 192.168.1.1 it does not let me into the xr500, it says page took too long to respond. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted Tuesday at 10:40 PM Administrators Share Posted Tuesday at 10:40 PM While connected to the router via a wired Windows PC, open command prompt, type ipconfig press enter and then post a screenshot of the results here please. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted Thursday at 03:17 PM Administrators Share Posted Thursday at 03:17 PM So wireless 10.0.0.1 doesn't work?
rjaaayyy Posted yesterday at 12:39 AM Author Share Posted yesterday at 12:39 AM Yes wirelessly, 10.0.0.1 doesn’t work but wired does which is fine I guess. New question, I have 1gb up and down and I have a cat6 cable from the xr500 into my console with qos has all upload of Xbox. When I speed test the Xbox series x, it can’t get into the 700s, but the download is much higher. How come???
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted 12 hours ago Administrators Share Posted 12 hours ago Is it definitely connected to the XR wireless? Do the ipconfig I mentioned previously but connected via WiFi and provide a screenshot of what you see. You don't need to allocate it all your upload, games barely use any bandwidth, usually less than 1Mbps, giving it more doesn't make it use more. The console speed tests are estimates - it usually says this on the test itself. If you get your expected speeds via a wired PC to speedtest.net then you won't be limited.
