Okay so it's a port issue then, port forward the necessary ports for the game and it should work fine from now on

I noticed finding games are okay, but when I join friends in a party the error comes up again when searching for a game. Its a hit and miss situation.

If the ports are okay and you have an Open NAT and that happens with the Geo-Filter disabled, I can't see a specific reason why the router would cause that with others

Hello, I'm having an issue as stated in the title that I can't match make in BO6 due this "FAILED TO JOIN'S PARTY/Unable to  connect to host" error message while using the R1. It is the same problem whether I'm in filtering mode or not. I'm on PS5 and as soon as I bypass the R1 and wire in directly from my isp router I can match make normally. The R1 is on firmware 3.0.207, is in a dmz from the isp router. I have the necessary ports forwarded and have an open NAT. QOS is off. VPN is off. I have been using similar settings for years in COD and haven't had this problem. It really started to ramp up and has been increasingly worse since December 2025. I'd really appreciate some ideas please.

This is happening to me did you find a fix? it is driving me crazy I have used my R1 for years with every previous call of duty title and now all of a sudden cannot find games.

In someone elses case it was their PC anti-virus causing it, what platform are you on?

If you disable the Geo-Filter do you get the same error?

If I disable geo-filter or have it on I have the same error. I have tried DMZ mode from my ISP to the router, I have tried DMZ mode on the R1 for my console IP, I have tried UPNP off with port forwards, Factory reset the R1 and the list goes on. But if I plug my ethernet directly from my ISP it seems to work perfectly fine so I don't understand what is causing it.

Disable QoS fully, does it continue to happen then?

I tried this it does not work.

There aren't any specific settings other than the ones that have been mentioned that would block it, try disable Adblocker though and see if that helps
