sw_mp
Hello, my R3 suddenly keeps restarting continuously, the LED lights up, the lights on the front come on, and then restarts again. I'm feeling a bit faint about this. WiFi is still a disaster i already did a factory reset at the back but no luck what to do now??
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 27 Administrators Share Posted February 27 Do you have it connected to a power extender or direct to an outlet? If an extender please try direct to an outlet. Otherwise do you have another power adapter you could try with?
sw_mp
@Netduma Fraser it plugs directly into the wall socket. I'll check when I have a power supply. I think the voltage is there. power supply also feels warm
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 28 Administrators Share Posted February 28 It could be the power supply is working but faulty and not providing enough voltage to the router to keep it powered on. Let us know how you get on!
sw_mp
@Netduma FraserOke i gonna look for the adapter. one more question, if I don't have the main router in bridge, can I, for example, use the netduma only for geofilter and cc or will it not work? It drives my girlfriend crazy every time it disappears
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 28 Administrators Share Posted February 28 Yes you can do that, put the R3 in the main router DMZ instead, this will allow you to get an Open NAT through the R3 while you can still have other devices connected to the main router
