AimGuy Posted February 9 Posted February 9 I'm trying to get my xbox and PC to join the same game in Warzone 2.0 so my son and i can run into each other. I set my Geo-Filter to the smallest 69mi so we can join the same servers but we never do. I also add ALLOWED server in the same Geo filer and we cant seem to join them together
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 10 Administrators Posted February 10 It's not something we can really help with, also there are multiple servers clustered in a singular location so you'd have to be lucky to get into the same game
AimGuy Posted February 10 Author Posted February 10 i understand but then the Geo filter isnt working because i blocked every server and left only one in that filter and they still join other servers out of the filter
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 10 Administrators Posted February 10 It's unlikely you'll have been able to block every single server but: Disable GeoLatency Disable PingAssist (set it to 0,0) Enable Strict Mode Disable Fast Search Use Simple instead of Custom radius Then restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game). If that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and it shouldn't get you any games outside your radius.

AimGuy Posted February 10 Author Posted February 10 I tried your introduction but no dice. I also tried making my pc appear like a xbox and it still connects me to server way far away from my filters. I went ahead and test my xbox as well and it does the same this. perhaps is this new firmware thats making it not work for everyone. Is it safe to roll back to old firmware ?

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 11 Administrators Posted February 11 You've added servers to your allow list so I suspect some of them are allowing access to those servers. Remove the allowed servers you've done as well as any blocked ones, then reboot the gaming devices, then try again please

Im probably going to return this and find something else. as you can see it is still not filtering it anything is just connecting to random server instead of the ones in the filter
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 11 Administrators Posted February 11 Try this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works please. No other device allows you to Geo-Filter.

The Geo-Filter is a staple feature of DumaOS, not sure what you mean? AimGuy Posted February 14 Author Posted February 14 i made the pc a console and it still asks me for a game to find. even when i use my ps5 or xbox alone to look for a game in the filter, it looks for it outside
