Suliman Posted January 11 Posted January 11 My internet speed is 500 down 150 up, but in Speed test and Netduma shows 200 ???
Krush Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Hi! Enter your max speeds in the R3 and do a test on a wired device please!
Suliman Posted January 11 Author Posted January 11 seems fixed the Speedtest.net, but in Netduma still shows wrong speed Krush 1

Suliman Posted January 11 Author Posted January 11 thanks what is the recommended Congestion control settings?
Krush Posted January 11 Posted January 11 It depends on the number of devices behind the R3 and their bandwidth under load! 70/70% is a good percentage with SmartBoost to avoid any ping spikes behind your games.
Suliman Posted January 11 Author Posted January 11 is it recommended to add all my networked devices in Smartboost and control them? I noticed when adding my PC the jitter drops but when adding all devices, the jitter is becoming more
Krush Posted January 11 Posted January 11 It is linked to your local network activity, you cannot do much as I explained to you before because the test is on a specific DNS server! 😉
Krush Posted January 11 Posted January 11 The "ping" test is necessarily linked to a server!... From memory, to be confirmed by the Netduma team, but it targets google 8.8.8.8...

Suliman Posted January 11 Author Posted January 11 what is the recommended to make sure I have <0.7 jitter ? what is the recommendation, adding all networked devices to the R3 Smartboost or keeping only my PC connected to Smartboost?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 11 Administrators Posted January 11 There are no specific recommendations for ranges of jitter/ping, as it all depends on actually what your connection is capable of/how stable your line is and the connection to the server as well as the server stability. If you have devices connected to an upstream router then I would definitely suggest having everything connected to the R3 as the R3 can't effectively control the network otherwise
