jeycee
Hi mates, is this ok in this way? or should i change something? Thanks!
Guest Netduma_Iain
You have bridge mode on the other router so that is good! I think you need to setup pppoe though on the duma. So go to "Settings > WAN" and enable pppoe and input your username and password. Ask the ISP if they require pppoe first and get your username/password from there
jeycee
Hi Iain thanks... i am already online, just wondering why i have no WAN ip on the DUMA. and the other settings...
Guest Netduma_Iain
For 16mbit I'd keep deep packet processing on and I think you may have just found a slight bug. Does anyone that is using pppoe see their WAN IP? I'll add to the TODO list mate

Guest Netduma_Iain
Cheers Stuart, its definitely a pppoe minor bug not showing the WAN IP. I'll fix that. I don't know jeycee but hold tight the new version will have you covered either way

Guest Netduma_Iain
Jeez louise that is a good connection. So are you having problems with xbl still because its not your connection for sure.
Guest Netduma_Iain
Having said that the first packet looks suspicious, I mean the first packet is always large as you have the ARP sequence to account for but 4 seconds is ridiculous.
jeycee
the first packet was only once, i have done it more times and everytime it starts with 5-6ms....maybe it was a little misstake or something (?) i have 2 connections: 1st Fibre 100mbit > ping 8.8.8.8 10-11ms and this new connection only 12-13Mbit gives me a ping 8.8.8.8 5-6 ms :-) the connection (this 12Mbit) is new, since today, maybe it needs a few days till it goes smooth.... 5-6ms (never had a ping like this before) ...but today XBL is broken, maybe thats the lag...will test it and post here the results. Guest Netduma_Iain
Ignore the first packet, its usually longer just not 4 seconds. But ignore it, please let me know how you get on
