fanahtic
Hi everyone, I appreciate any help that you can give me. I'm having an issue where my download speed for Diablo IV on Battlenet's launcher is consistently less than 1 Mbp/s. I believe it's an issue with the R3 router itself as when I factory reset the router, my speeds jumped up to 50 Mbp/s. However, after configuring everything (eg, setting up WiFi name, testing download speeds, etc.), the download speed dropped back down to less than 1 Mbp/s. Enabling/disabling SpeedBoost does not seem to affect anything. Is this a common issue? Thank you!
wrighty338
Launchers themselves have settings to adjust your download speeds and limits, i know steam and EA app do but they are the only two i use. Even though i have a netduma and 145mb connection it still only goes at the limit of the app. I can't imagine the people that run these launchers can enable every end user to rip their game downloads as fast as they would like without causing an issue, hence the limits. My advise is to run the latest one as I've had no issues with that so far.

Good advice above, please do check the specific download settings on the launcher and if you're not already on the latest firmware you can find it here: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/57039-new-r3-firmware-dumaos-40290/
fanahtic
Thank you for your suggestions. I tried adjusting and removing all download limits in the launcher itself which hasn’t made a difference. I did check and I am on the latest firmware. I swapped out the R3 for my old router and the download speeds went up to 50 again. Just unsure as to what specifically is causing my R3 to limit the speed.

Just to be clear, that's the .290 firmware version? What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode
