Kosso
geofencing is not working properly, it keeps connecting me outside my restricted area.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 28 Administrators Share Posted September 28 For Geo: Disable GeoLatency Disable PingAssist (set it to 0,0) Enable Strict Mode Disable Fast Search Use Simple instead of Custom radius Then restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game). If that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and it should work then. Where are you reading the NAT status, in game or on the console network settings? What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Kosso

DARKNESS
@Kosso If it has wifi it a router/modem combo unit box so you need to enable bridge mode in that router to make it solely become a modem as it double natting and that essentially means your nat is blocked as there conflicting. You can follow the instructions if this is your model they should be similar regardless https://www.ziggo.nl/klantenservice/internet-wifi/bridge-modus Netduma Fraser and Kosso 1
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 29 Administrators Share Posted September 29 Exactly as above, let us know how you get on Kosso
Kosso
Thanks for the help guys, i need to get in contact with my provider and they will put my modem in bridge modus from a distance. Its says tho that all the wifi spots will not be available anymore, does that means that every device in my house has to be connected to the netduma router? Cause that might be a problem cause its a lot. If it is like that, is there an other way to change the Nat type? It has to be something with my own providers modem right not with the netduma router? Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 29 Administrators Share Posted September 29 Yes that's what it would mean and it would actually be the ideal setup to have all devices connected to the R3. Yes the alternative is using the DMZ on the modem, putting the R3 WAN IP (found in WAN Settings on the R3) into the DMZ function on your modem. That would keep the modem WiFi available for use while allowing an open NAT through the R3.
Kosso
Well i called the provider and my modem is now in bridge mode. But my PlayStation still says its a nat type 2 connection and in game it still says open? Is there something i need to change on the Netduma settings so it becomes open? Hopefully it will finally work.
Kosso
Also, im connected with Lan kabel dont thinks that has to do anything with the problem but my friend is not and his stuff says open and nat type 1.

Kosso
I mean there is no way to get type 1 connection with the netduma ?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 29 Administrators Share Posted September 29 No because it's a router, NAT Type 1 is equal to NAT Type 2 though. I play it occasionally but I know enough about it, what is it you're trying to achieve?

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 29 Administrators Share Posted September 29 Yeah that's not something we'd help with really even if we knew how to do that as it isn't the purpose of the router. You both have an open NAT though so that will not be it.
IceJ66
Hey Kosso - which CoD are you playing? Have you tried to forward the ports of the particular game? Whichever your device for playing cod it's connected to (NetDuma, or other). try port forwarding for your particular CoD game. After doing that restart your game (close it out completely) then launch the game again. That should clear your problem. Depending on which CoD you may need to look up their ports to forward in order to open it up. see this video for reference (yes it covers console in one section as well. https://youtu.be/R7kfk5ZJ1wU?si=x3RGzcpyEXv1Znn6
