The amount of issues I'm having with R3 router is crazy... all devices lose connection and dumaOS wont load

everyday some of my devices lose connection in my house randomly, sometimes it's a few but most of the time its all of them and then dumaOS will not load. this is happening every day and it's driving me insane.

the only fix I've found is getting a pin and holding down the factory reset button to setup the router again but doing this every day is a nightmare. frankly I'm sick of getting texts from my family everyday asking me to fix it.

I've had to factory reset the router twice today...

so, I changed the mac address in the OS to the same thats on the router and got no connection at all after rebooting the router, so I called up my isp so they could authenticate the new mac address and that still didn't work, I've tried factory resetting my router and can't get into dumaos at all now... I had to plug in my old XR1000.... my R3 does not work at all now even after factory resetting it and being on the phone with my isp for an hour

Unplug the router from power for 10 minutes, plug in, then wait 4 minutes, then hold the reset button for 30 seconds, then wait 4 minutes before accessing the interface. Once you're in, I've given you Early Access so you can try this firmware for the disconnects: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/56332-r3-disconnections/?do=findComment&comment=423952

So it just happened again now but it's different this time, everything that is wired lost connection but everything on WiFi is still connected, anyone know how to fix this issue?

Other thing to add I can't get onto dumaOS with PCs connected with Ethernet but I can connect to dumaOS with my phone cuz it's on wifi

Please try this new version for the issue and let us know if it continues: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/56332-r3-disconnections/?do=findComment&comment=424833

So I tried to update to 291 and it wouldn't update, I had to reset the router but it says dumaOS DNS address could not be found on the webpage and I can't get the router to work at all again

I'll try doing this to see if I can get back into the router, I'll post my results once done

@Netduma Fraserdear, it's happening with me same issues mentioned here, my device is R3 with latest update DumaOS 4.0.290, any solutions?

I've added you to Early Access so you can try that version.

Did you get an error when trying to update? Use the IP address instead if that happens http://192.168.77.1

I think I did yeah but once I unplugged the router for 10 mins, waited 4 mins, then helt the reset button for 30 and then waited 4 mins before accessing the OS it went straight to dumaOS homepage and I'm on 4.0.291 now, I'm surprised it didn't make me go threw the setup again but if I get the same issues again I'll immediately post about it here

Hmm my wired devices work now but nothing works over wifi, I tried rebooting the router and dumaOS wont load and then I tried factory resetting the router again and I still can't get into dumaOS, it gives me that dumaOS DNS address could not be found error message on my browser

Did you try accessing using the IP instead of http://dumaos?

Hey KatoTheWolf (First, love the profile picture!)

I hear you on the issues as a person with roomies as well I can understand people getting upset with you, (spefically if you have disabled gamers who are always home 24/7 like my house does lol) These guys are great and the software has allot of potential, Some things you could do is try combing all the issues your having and trying to make them clear into a single post instead of multiple, if you need help doing that let me know!

Their is a new beta driver (not sure if your on it) I know Fraser was saying they have some ideas on whats causing the issues and the next firmware should give a global improvement to speeds/fixing disconnect etc if I understood him correctly.
