Hi, since the last update my netduma router stopped working during the day, the internet no longer works, I restart the router and everything works, it happens randomly, I tried to put the previous firmware but it has the same problem, what could it be?? Thank you

I read above, is there a new firmware to solve this?

Do you still have access to the interface when this happens? Does it happen for all devices?

It was to good to be true just had my first disconnect in a couple of days šŸ˜

Sorry to hear that, do try the latest Early Access firmware build instead, meanwhile we are focusing on the issue.

Thanks! It's .285 currently, pinned to the top of the Early Access section.

We've had a theory from a user, could you check the MAC address on the bottom of the router, then in the router settings make sure the router is using that specific address - set it manually even if it does match, reboot the router then check if it continues please

I always have access to the interface, in fact I can restart without problems, and the internet doesn't work on all devices.

Could you do the above step please and see if that provides you with better stability?

You think the router is changing it's Mac? Like as a security thing (randomized Mac addressing)? I just looked and my Mac is the same as the under side of the router and it's already input in the Mac address field. Is that normal to automatically be in the field or am I just special?

Potentially yes. No I don't think it should be happening at all and therefore could be causing some unforeseen issues such as this. Yeah it will say what it is using currently.

OMG so since you just mentioned this. I checked this out. the LAST letter of my MAC is different on the interface over the router itself. I cant say I've had any significant issues because of this. But is there a way to prevent this? Also if i were to correct the letter on the interface would it break access? Thank you.

That's good to know, do keep an eye out for issues when that happens. Yes if you set it to the same MAC as on the router sticker it should stay the same.

I had the last different number of the mac address and I fixed it manually, let's see how it goes. Thank you

It wasn't full proof unfortunately, just a theory, could you disable SmartBOOST fully from the SmartBOOST menu temporarily and see if it becomes more stable please?

I have the same issue..every time a device gets connected, internet is lost on all connected devices. Tried almost every early access firmware with no luck

Not heard of that before, so any new device that has never been connected to the router connects and everything goes down? Have you changed anything with DHCP at all?

You still have warranty, you just wouldn't be able to return that late on
