Hello, I have tried 5 vpn providers. All VPN works on R3. Some providers have WireGuard, and some only UDP and TCP protocol. Need a VPN for Gaming or some other purpose? What country are you playing from ,and what game would you use vpn for?

Thank you for replying Zli. I’m in the UK and its for Call Of Duty. I’ve been getting ddos almost everyday so I was wondering if a VPN would stop me from getting booted.

Hi!

How do you notice DDOS attacks?

By MAC or by IP... or other!

If this is really the case, the best is to simply change ISP, it will provide you with another IP/MAC address!

----It's hard to explain to a child how a VPN works!----

All you need to understand is that the main VPN providers provide configuration files... HVPN (DumaOS) allows the use of OpenVPN and Wireguard type files. As long as this type of file is provided by the VPN provider, you just have to copy/paste it into HVPN.

Start with free versions to get the hang of it, and choose a paid version if that helps!

I play Cold War which is a old call of duty so you meet the same ppl many times a day. This one guy on pc boots me everytime he sees me lol

“your router getting fried” is the last thing i see in game chat before disconnecting from the game.

normal ddos just stresses your network but now they got some new ways to ddos which prevents my PS5 from connecting to the network when everything else is working fine.

Could you tell me few free VPN names as I’m not very familiar?

Most VPN providers provide a 30 day trial period, you can do a google search and test them!

For me it's the same...

If the "DDOS" is upstream of your ISP or PS5, not sure it helps !

The tutorial you sent me uses a different kind of router so they don’t talk about configuration files whatever so ever. I don’t get what to put there in the config files tab. Very frustrating

Sorry, I guess this is confusing for you, knowing that you have never done it!

Once this file is downloaded, open it with a text file on your PC, and copy/paste in VPN config file "R3 HVPN"!

If you have SurfShark VPN, better find WireGuard protocol installation for manual setup. You just copy and paste the file on R3. you don't need that username and password. WireGuard is much faster than UDP. On R3 you will find the Wiregurad protocol instead of Open VPN

I haven’t express vpn in this list, what I have to do

That's the VPN protocol you want to connect using - check your VPN provider for the configs they provide, OpenVPN or Wireguard.
