Devastate
I would like to suggest the following improvements to Hybrid VPN: 1. The ability to enable and disable the VPN connection per device rule. 2. The ability to have multiple rules per device. 3. The ability to apply the VPN connection to the entire network. 4. The ability to switch between VPN configuration files. 5. The ability to enable or disable a kill switch. Most of these improvements would decrease the amount of time spent editing VPN configuration files and device rules. carmine19
Fuzy
Hi! In my opinion, points "1" (using Activity), 2, 3 and "5" (same point 1) are already the case! Point 4 is difficult to achieve, I think, because it would require several VPN clients, but you can always do it manually!
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 13 Administrators Share Posted August 13 I suppose you can do this as mentioned by deleting/re-adding but something like a toggle switch would be easier, is that what you'd be after? You can select multiple applications at a time for one device It applies to the whole network if you don't add any rules I believe That's been long requested so may come in future We did have that on the old version so I'm not sure why it was removed, I'll add it to the list
Devastate
My suggestions would help streamline the processes to make it easier for the user. My inspiration for the suggestions comes a lot from the internet rules tab. 1. Yes, precisely that—a toggle switch so you don't have to delete and re-add device rules. 2. Yes, you can. However, if a user wants to remove or add an activity, they'll have to edit the existing rule. With suggestion 1 implemented and the activities separated by device rules, they could just hit the toggle to turn each activity on or off. 3. No, not for me anyways. 4. Yes, I've seen this now; sorry about that. Exactly the same idea. On 7/4/2024 at 4:03 PM, Sgt-Greco said: How about 5 VPN slots for 5 different locations , enabling or disabling one at a time ? Copy-paste open vpn config files for different locations is boring. Check this ASUS-MERLIN vpn UI. How cool is this ? 5. That's great; thank you. 6. The ability to have multiple concurrent VPN connections.

I understand what you mean with 2 but that could get quite cluttered. I'll pass on the suggestions. Devastate
euphidra
@Netduma Fraser For me it should indicate the ping on the geofilter from the VPN access point instead the ping is always the same as being without the VPN. I'm talking about eFootball. The servers are missing to update on the ping heatmap. The ping on the ping heatmap is not true looking at the ping without active steady ping. The ping on the server, playing is lower. Netduma Fraser
